The Rotterdam Summer Festivals took place from May 19 th to September 5 th, 2004.
For this occasion they ordered 3000 FestivalChairs printed with their own original design, depicting the various Festivals. The festival organizers were very pleased, and felt the chairs to be highly successful, indeed 3000 were not enough!
Below are photos from the Dunya Festival, the Street Theater Festival, the Maas River Beach, the Urban Style Festival, and the Summer Sundays.
Afterwards, the Rotterdam Summer Festivals received first prize in 2005 from the IFEA (International Festival and Event Association) for the use of our FestivalChairs. The FestivalChair was recognized as the most innovative promotional tool of any festival.
