Hofplein Theater Karien de Baat in Utrecht, The Netherlands
It was an impressive afternoon: about 500 children beat the FestivalChairs like drums, in the street. Then they turned the chairs into a stage where they performed short scenes. Afterwards, the procession continued and was rounded off with a playful ending: a huge 'gift' which opened to release hundreds of balloons. It was a great way to show the colorful diversity of the Hofplein ("The Court Square") in Utrecht.
