In 2003, the Graphic Design High School of Utrecht ordered 120 blank FestivalChairs, which served as the basis for the graduation of 120 fourth-year Graphic Design students from the Lyceum. The designs focused on the student and his/her headstrong view of 'the world'. Among the projects were statements on various topics such as society, values, design, communication, relationships and "being." These statements were beautifully visualized by the students and developed individually on 120 unique FestivalChairs.
